A few years ago, Bill Cosby was accused of rape, drug-assisted sexual assault, sexual battery, and other forms of sexual misconduct by sixty women. There were also two reports of alleged child sexual abuse, both involving 15-year-old kids. But before all of that, he played a lovable physician patriarch.
The Cosby Show challenged many stereotypes about the African-American family unit and has left a lasting impression to this day. However, The Cosbys’ wealth was not the focus of the show, but it served as a backdrop, and money frequently came up in many of the plotlines.
